Meet Heather
Hi, I’m Heather!
I’m a New Zealand Registered Nurse and Mental Health Therapist based in Auckland with over 20 years of experience supporting young people and adults. I offer a safe and supportive space for reflection, discovery, learning and growth. I am passionate about reconnecting to the authentic self, with an approach that is grounded in warmth, professionalism and a touch of playful spirit.
I offer face to face or online sessions.
(Please note: I do not provide court reports, recommendations or character references)
In my spare time, I enjoy keeping active, wandering through the bush or by the sea, listening to audiobooks, playing music, renovating our home, or enjoying time with family and friends.
Background & Experience
I began my career as a nurse in 1993, working across various medical and mental health fields, including Addictions, Emergency Care, Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Brief Intervention. Over the years, I’ve continued to expand my expertise, facilitating therapy for both individuals and groups of all ages, training and supervising other clinicians, and staying up-to-date with the latest therapeutic techniques.
